Every step in remembrance

of our Anzacs veterans, past and present

Remembrance Run

Run on 25th April in remembrance of our Anzacs veterans, past and present.

You can join us for a run from the Runaway Bay RSL (Gold Coast) dawn service.

Or you can organise an event in your area for you and friends to complete as many kilometres as you like towards your virtual run total.

Runaway Bay Anzac Marathon Run

Join us on 25th of April at the Runaway Bay (Gold Coast) dawn service.

We start at the conclusion of the dawn service at 6am, after official photos with Bruce, RSL President.

We then head south to Southport cenotaph, then onto Surfers Paradise for a photo with “Matey”.

Back up to the Surfers Paradise sign & statue, then onto the longest stretch to Burleigh.

At the Burleigh cenotaph we group together, as the morning service is about to commence so we take a quick photo with the group and keep going to Currumbin.

From Currumbin RSL, we head up to Elephant Rock for a re-group then along the wide path along the ocean to Coolangatta.

We arrive during the Coolangatta/Tweed morning service at Chris Cunningham park, having covered 42.2km from north to south of the Gold Coast.

This is not a fully organised event, just an opportunity to get together with other Virtual Event Participants to complete some of your kilometres with other Gold Coasters.

Run in your own area

Bring a virtual event, you can run/walk where-ever you are!

Home, holidays or away for work, every step in remembrance.

Last year we didn’t have anyone from NT or Tassie, so c’mon join us as we run/walk 42.2km in 25 days.

Everyone is welcome!
